▪ Deposit
A NON REFUNDABLE deposit is required to confirm a booking. Photoshoot time slots will only be secured upon receipt of the deposit.
▪ Rescheduling/Cancelling
MORE than 7 days prior to the date/time slot, the deposit can be transferred for use with the new arranged date/time.
LESS than 7 days prior to the date/time, deposit will be retained by Rob Jamieson Photography and a new deposit will need to be paid to secure a new photoshoot date.
Cancelling/Rescheduling your photoshoot LESS THAN 48 HOURS before the date/time, 50% of the photoshoot fee is charged.
(I allow for ONE rescheduling only)
▪ Payment Terms
Remaining payment payable on the day of the photoshoot. Images will not be released until the final balance is paid in full.
▪ Copyright
The intellectual property rights (IPR) and copyright of all images taken will remain that of Rob Jamieson Photography.
▪ Cancellation by Rob Jamieson Photography
In the unlikely event of cancellation by myself, or unavoidable total photographic failure, liability shall be limited to a full refund of any booking fees and/or fees paid. Re-shoots can easily be arranged but I will not be responsible for any further costs. -

3. How Your Data is Collected & Third-Party Processors
We collect data from you directly when you fill out forms, book a session, or communicate with us. To run our business efficiently, we share specific data with trusted third-party service providers.
A. Appointment Bookings & Scheduling
Processor: We use Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace company) to manage our calendar and bookings.
Data Transferred: Your name, email, phone number, and specific shoot details.
International Transfers: Acuity Scheduling processes data in the United States. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) within Squarespace’s data processing agreements to ensure a compliant level of data protection.
Legal Basis: Performance of a Contract to schedule and manage your session.
B. Payment Processing
Processor: Payments are securely processed via Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. We do not store or have access to your full credit card numbers on our website.
Data Transferred: Credit/debit card numbers, billing addresses, and security codes go directly to Stripe.
International Transfers: Stripe may transfer data globally, including to the United States, protected under their Data Processing Agreement using Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Legal Basis: Performance of a Contract to complete your booking, and Legal Obligation to comply with UK tax reporting and accounting rules.
C. Photographs & Images
Usage: We display select client images on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
Legal Basis: Performance of a Contract and Legitimate Interests. We do this in accordance with the standard image usage clauses explicitly set out in our photography contracts.
4. Data Retention (How Long We Keep Your Data)
Contact & Transaction Data: We retain billing, transaction, and contact data for 6 years after the end of the financial year in which the transaction occurred to comply with UK tax laws (HMRC).
Image Data: Rob Jamieson Photography archives and stores final client photographs indefinitely for backup purposes. This allows us to fulfill requests for replacement copies in the future, should you lose your images. If you wish for your images to be permanently deleted from our archives, please contact us directly.
5. Your Legal Rights
Under the UK GDPR, you have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data, and the right to object to or restrict processing.
